WHO WE ARE

At the heart of Florence’s vibrant sports community lies the City of Florence Athletics and Sports Tourism Department, proudly partnering with the Florence Junior Football League to host an exciting and dynamic youth football program. Each year, more than 600 eager young athletes, ranging from ages 5 to 12, come together to participate in this highly popular and spirited league that emphasizes both fun and fierce competition.

Our program is thoughtfully organized into four age groups, with several teams within each group, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to develop their skills, learn the game, and make lifelong friendships. Our teams are a true testament to the spirit of teamwork, perseverance, and dedication. While we take pride in our competitive edge and winning championships, our core mission remains rooted in building greater men—fostering qualities like leadership, respect, discipline, and sportsmanship that extend far beyond the gridiron.

Every game, practice, and season is designed to be an exhilarating experience — where the thrill of competition meets the joy of participation. Our coaches, staff, and volunteers work tirelessly to create a positive environment where every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
